Three things you could do this weekend:

1. It's the Swan Valley Seafood and Shiraz Weekend. A dozen restaurants and wineries are offering special menus combining local shiraz with 'robust seafood dishes' over the 6th, 7th, and 8th of July. Details at the Swan Valley website. [link]

2. On the banks of the Herdsman Lake, Herdman Fresh Essentials are having their yearly Food Expo on the 7th and 8th. Food workshops, live music and entertainment, over 50 suppliers for tasting, and Fat Cat. [link]

3. WA Wine and Food Festival. Food, wine and entertainment under the roof of the Perth Convention Centre on the 6th, 7th, and 8th. [link] And we'll be there, come say hello to us to keep us from wandering off and sampling the food (don't know about the others but there's only so often you can go to the gym).
